What is behind Beckhoff Automation? The Bergisch Land Mechanical Engineering Network was given a glimpse behind the scenes.
On July 10, the Bergisch Land Mechanical Engineering Network visited Beckhoff Automation GmbH & Co. KG in Verl to learn about the family-owned company’s production and latest developments firsthand.
More than 5,000 employees, over two-thirds of whom are based in Verl, produce high-quality automation technology “Made in Germany” – a success story that once began in a garage.
Even though one day is not enough to see all the local production areas, the team led by Dipl.-Ing. Wilm Schadach and Marco Kulich made an exciting selection: from Europe’s leading primary production for electronic components to the latest applications in mechanical engineering.
A particular highlight for the participants was the MX system – Beckhoff’s pluggable system solution for cabinet-free automation, which opens up new possibilities in mechanical engineering.
